MacKay & Hughes is the only fresh potato distributor in Canada with distribution throughout North America. “Following the sun” and the growing seasons, we source our products from 38 States in the USA and from 9 Provinces in Canada to assure our customers have outstanding fresh produce year-round. We have Logistics and Sales offices in Eastern Canada, Ontario and Western Canada. Additionally, we are the only Idaho-licensed packer in Ontario. MacKay and Hughes has 10 Green Giant packing facilities with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in place in Canada, and we can source from over 60 more Green Giant facilities in the USA. Each facility has Food Safety Programs including new employee training and annual updates for all existing employees. Each packing facility is audited by the American Institute of Bakeries annually.
