EarthFresh Burlington
Located in Burlington, Ontario, our 110,000 sq. ft. packing facility has the ability to pack 600,000 lbs/day. We provide full logistics service – including freight, pallets, customs, duty and inspections. We are committed to providing our customers with safe, high quality products that we would be proud to serve our own families. Our facility is Primus GFSi certified and we supply products that are certified organic by Pro-Cert Organic Systems Ltd. EarthFresh Burlington is a specialty packing line featuring over 60 different products per day, including all sizes and colours of organics and baby potatoes.
We’ve invested in state-of-the-art equipment including:
- Hollow heart machines
- Roll and lift sizing and optical sizing equipment
- Optical grading machines
- Automatic palletizing machines
- Metal detectors on all packing lines
- High-speed bagging equipment
- Custom-made overhead cranes for bulk movement

Our 140,000 sq. ft. packing facility has the ability to pack up to 60 different specialty items daily. We are able to wash, size, and pack all varieties on site. Currently running 500,000 pounds of production per day with the full capacity to produce 1 million pounds per day.

EarthFresh Millgrove
Millions of years ago, as the ice age was ending, a ridge of “golden” soil was deposited along the top of the escarpment in what is now called Millgrove, Ontario. This special sandy loam is unique to the area, and only covers approximately one mile along that ridge. This soil is one of the best soils in the entire region for growing potatoes, especially coloured potatoes. This “golden” soil is home to EarthFresh Farms. EarthFresh uses this farm
to showcase its newest varieties to customers, other growers and plant breeders from around the world. We are proud of the potatoes we grow on our farm, and we are sure you will enjoy them, too.
Eastpoint Potato
Our partnership in Eastpoint Potato allows us to procure world famous Prince Edward Island potatoes from our network of local island growers. Eastpoint has become one of the largest, most sophisticated packing facilities in PEI – with optical grading systems, robotic palletizers and fully automated count sizing equipment.
SunRain
SunRain breeds over 50,000 of its own varieties in its state-of-the-art laboratories in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This includes a 1,600-acre upper generation seed farm where it controls all aspects of seed production. EarthFresh has exclusivity to all its varieties in CanadaEarthFResh HOUSTON
We are pleased to announce the purchase of Mountain King Potatoes by EarthFresh Farms, effective September 25, 2024.
“We believe that there are great synergies between our two companies that include exclusive varietal potatoes, innovative packaging and products, expanded organic offerings, customer analytics and an expanded supply of fresh potatoes” says Tom Hughes, President and CEO. “Our combined team will consist of over 400 employees dedicated to servicing our customers.”
With the expanded packing locations EarthFresh will be able to service North America within 24 hours of its packing facilities.
EarthFresh will maintain the proven Mountain King brands that include premium products like Steakhouse Russets, Butter Golds, Butter Reds and Butter Russets.
